If you have a dental emergency, first of all please don’t panic! We are dedicated to providing all our patients with quality emergency care when you need us, and have reserved availability for emergency appointments daily.
Please call us on 01325 333336 as early as possible on the day of your dental emergency and we will make you an urgent appointment if needed, or give advice if appropriate. We endeavour to offer you an appointment on the same day where we can, or the next available suitable date.

Our Appointment Cancellation Policy – Fair for Everyone
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes appointments need to be changed. However, last-minute cancellations or missed appointments without good reason can prevent other patients from receiving the care they need—and may even contribute to longer waiting times or increased costs for everyone.
To help us run smoothly and keep care accessible and affordable, we kindly ask for at least two full working days’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice (excluding weekends and bank holidays) will be treated the same as a missed appointment.
We truly appreciate your cooperation—and we also understand that genuine emergencies or sudden illness can happen. In those cases, please let us know as soon as possible, and we’ll always take your individual circumstances into account.
If you cancel with short notice or don’t attend your appointment, we’ll do our best to offer that time to another patient in need. However, if we’re unable to fill the slot, a missed appointment fee may apply: £60 per 30 minutes of reserved time.
Please note: if a patient misses two appointments in a row or has two late cancellations, we may need to pause future treatment. This isn’t a decision we take lightly—it’s simply to ensure fairness for all our patients.

Our 5 year guarantee
We offer a 5 year guarantee as standard on most of our private and cosmetic dentistry work. Some exclusions apply, so please check with us before you begin your treatment.
If crowns, veneers, bridges, fillings, dental implants, dentures, or onlays provided to you by Middleton St George Dental Care fail and need to be replaced/repaired within 5 years, you will not normally be charged for the remedial treatment*.
Please note the tooth itself is not under guarantee – it is the treatment on the tooth that is guaranteed. One example would be where a filling has been placed and after a period of time a piece of tooth breaks away; this would not be guaranteed. If the filling itself broke, it would be guaranteed.
Dental implants are not guaranteed if you smoke/vape/use e-cigarettes.
