Dental Therapists

What is a Dental Therapist?

Dental Therapists can work under the prescription of a dentist to provide simple treatments such as:-

Scaling, polishing and treatment of gum disease
Fillings in adult and baby teeth
Extraction of baby teeth
Tooth Whitening

So your dentist will still examine your mouth and may decide to refer you on to one of our dental therapists for simple treatment. Complex treatment such as crowns, bridges, veneers, implants and dentures will be undertaken by your dentist.
